Field Kallop  received an MFA in Painting from The Rhode Island School of Design in 2011 and a BA in Art History from Princeton University in 2004.  An Awards Program Nominee at the Academy of Arts and Letters in New York, Kallop has recently exhibited work at The Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, PA; Allegra LaViola Gallery and Mixed Greens in New York, NY; Storefront Bushwick and Tompkins Projects in Brooklyn, NY; and The Silas Marder Gallery in Bridgehampton, NY.  Drawing inspiration from 20th-century abstract artists like Emma Kunz and Agnes Martin, Kallop’s work reflects her fascination with math, physics and astronomy.  She was born in 1982 in New York, where she currently  lives and works.
