ART SUNDAE
Presented by Art Production Fund and Fort Gansevoort
Starting Fall 2017, Art Sundae will bring together a diverse group of children from around NYC for artist-led, interactive public art workshops – open to the public and completely free of charge.
Partnering with a different youth based non-profits, Art Production Fund and Fort Gansevoort will invite artists to develop a one-day workshop for participants to create a public art project. The program will offer children a hands on experience using inexpensive, everyday materials, and spending a Sunday working with an artist. The artwork they create will remain on public view at Fort Gansevoort’s Meatpacking District Gallery. As a pride building experience that highlights the positive impact of art making, participants will be able to invite family and friends to view what they have created.
Fort Gansevoort is located at 5 Ninth Avenue.
