Art Production Fund’s 2026 Gala

Art Production Fund celebrated its 15th annual on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. The event raised a record-breaking sum of over $1 million in support of the organization’s mission to commission and produce ambitious public art projects. More than three hundred guests joined the APF Chaletto celebrate with the organization’s artists and supporters at the iconic NYC landmark, The Seagram Building.

One of New York’s most anticipated artworld events, the 2026 Gala saw guests wearing their best après looks for an evening of ski chalet inspired fun. Guests were greeted with “Wistful Thinking”, a penny press created by Kelly Wall,and a frozen ice bar by Queens-based Okamoto serving shots of Absolut Tabasco Vodka. In the iconic downstairs ladies lounge, Amazon Luxury guests were offered makeup touch ups and gifts from Clé de Peau. Guests then proceeded upstairs to THE GRILL for cocktails, where they enjoyed custom soft pretzels and were treated to Amanda Ross-Ho’s Untitled Figure (REPRISE), an original performance involving choreographed ice skating in the middle of THE GRILL. Ross-ho recently completed her durational performance, Untitled Orbit (MANUAL MODE) (2026),  as part of APF’s Frieze Los Angeles public program.

Guests were ushered into THE POOL for dinner, where they settled into their seats while being entertained by the DJ duo, the Polar Bears, who performed a set complete with throwback dance anthems from the early aughts. 

Executive Director Casey Fremont and Director of Operations Kathleen Lynch welcomed and thanked guests who then enjoyed an alpine inspired dinner menu designed by APF Board member Sarah Hoover with fondue, schnitzel and more by Major Food Group. During dinner, Gabriela Palmieri led a paddle raise in support of APF’s Art Sundae program. As dessert was served, waiters donning Moncler puffers and hats presented tables with APF shotskis filled with Absolut Vodka. Each table setting was complete with surprises for attendees to carry home, including a personalized APF ski pass, APF sweatshirts, branded cutting boards, and a specially-designed “ski map” program. 

All proceeds from the evening will support Art Production Fund’s mission to commission and produce ambitious public art projects. Art Production Fund (APF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to commissioning and producing ambitious public art projects, reaching new audiences, and expanding awareness through contemporary art.
